Sufferin' Moses plays soulful, funky blues-rock with tight vocal harmonies, skillful guitar work, and a high-energy stage presence. The band formed in Southeast Ohio in 2009, where the founding members met while studying/performing opera and other classical genres. It is their mutual love for the blues, however, which truly gives them their musical purpose. In 2012, the band took their talents to the beaches and salt marshes of the Charleston, South Carolina Lowcountry. Zach Quillen fronts the band with a powerful voice and an unmistakeable guitar style, while Brad Huffman (bass and vocals) and Sean Harshaw (drums) keep things steady in the rhythm section.

"The Sufferin’ Moses Blues Band put on a great performance of original and classic blues, country and rock tunes at the 4th Annual Ribs, Rhythm & Blues at Union Hall Theater. These fellows were born with loads of talent and soul, and trained classically to write and perform beautiful music. They skillfully incorporated four-part a capella harmonies, funky saxophone, and passionate guitar work into a show that delighted our audience."

“My wife and I got married last September, and we knew exactly who we wanted to play our reception – Sufferin’ Moses rocked it out! They were very accommodating and went above and beyond to learn specially requested songs for their set. And really brought the party to life. We heard nothing but rave reviews from all of our guests, young and old.
To the band I say, Thank you again for your outstanding performance, your unfailing professionalism, and your invaluable friendship.
May you Suffer for a long time to come.” – John, Rockwood, PA
